Every Friday I’ll be sharing a photo from someplace in my travels.
This week’s photo is of the bustling marketplace in Senado Square, Macau.
Macau is said to be the most densely populated region in the world. During my first visit, I wasn’t convinced and I felt that Hong Kong was the more crowded of the SARs. But after a second visit, suddenly Macau seemed crowded. The streets were filled with people and difficult to navigate.
The marketplace was bustling and lively. Street vendors stood outside their shops yelling and offer samples of their goods. Even if you wanted to stop to grab a sample, sometimes the flow of people made it impossible. This was a new side of Macau for me, but in a good way.
