FOTO FRIDAY: SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

Every Friday I’ll be sharing a photo from someplace in my travels.

This week’s photo is of Spring Voyage at Tokyo DisneySea.

The coldest months are finally behind, and as of yesterday, spring is officially here! It might not be my favorite of all the seasons, but this time of year is my favorite time to travel. I can’t think of many locations I wouldn’t want to visit during spring, as it’s usually a beautiful time with nice weather around the world.

My favorite country to travel to in spring would have to be Japan. Filled with warm air, sunshine, and blue skies, Japan is the perfect destination this time of year. What makes it even better is that all of the flowers will be blooming from late March onward, including the delightfully pink sakura  (cherry blossoms).

There are lots of fun things to do in Japan in the springtime, and even Tokyo Disney gets festive with their annual “Spring Voyage” celebration. The whole park becomes filled with colorful flowers, and my favorites were these Duffy and Shellie May sculptures made purely out of bright blossoms. How cute are these?
