FOTO FRIDAY: SUNNY CHICAGO

Every Friday I’ll be sharing a photo from someplace in my travels.

This week’s photo is of downtown Chicago as seen from the South Loop.

After what felt like an extended winter followed by weeks of rain, the weather is finally looking up here in Chicago as warmer temperatures and blue skies roll in. Luckily, that means I can spend more time outside my apartment marveling at views like this one!

Isn’t Chicago beautiful when there’s no snow? This area’s street-level views aren’t so great as it’s in a rather old, industrial area, so you can imagine that I was super surprised to see stunning views like this when I ended up on their roof! It’s hidden gems like these that make me fall in love with this city all over again.
